The assignment for this project is a shoe store situated in the resort town of Bansko. The clients are shoe retailers with several large retail outlets. Because of this, in our design we had to take into account the established working method organised around a self-service system. This results in the lack of need for a storage area because all of the available goods must be accessible to the visitor, so that he can self-serve. This specific type of system is one of the defining characteristics for the design of this project. In terms of materials, we chose metal, wood and concrete, which resulted in a simple color scheme so that the accent remained in the colorful shoe models.
